Can't see it as an best seller.

Can't even imagine it to be popular for record breaking.

It is just: my endowment from nVidia is bigger that yours from AMD (for now).

12 gig who cares ?? Even 4 gig per core (this is a duel card) is more than most people need atm. pure E-peen for the people who have more money than sense.

Well it's 'only' 6GB per GPU, while we're beginning to see big memory cards up to 8GB per GPU to meet a market with that perceived need.

But a single titan is also more than most people need, this is emphatically not a card aimed at most people, its aimed at either, those with far more money than sense, or, those who need that level of double precision performance in a workstation environment (plenty of scientific applications). Just like Titan has always been, it isn't primarily aimed at gamers.

"double precision performance in a workstation environment (plenty of scientific applications)."

I bought one, it arrives tomorrow. The Cuda performance for Vray RT rendering and cloth/liquid simulation make it a great investment for me. Just under £900 gets me almost the same performance as the £5000 Quadro equivalent, which I can't afford at the moment. This new card would give me a huge advantage at a relatively low price.
