    6800 GT... Where From?

    Hey,

I am looking around to see where i can find the cheapest/best 6800GT i have seen this one here:

    http://www.hollycomputers.co.uk/acat...hics_Cards.php

    256MB Gainward Geforce 6800 GT PowerPack! Ultra/2400 "Golden Sample" AGP8x 2.0ns DDR3 DVI TV - £337.50

No i was only going to spend £300 but if i can get a gainward i might as well go £30 extra the only problem is i have never heard of Holly Computers before. Are they trust worthy??

    Cheers,
    RealM

i would advise against it. from dabs and from svastore you can get a gt for 265 .. that is almost 90 cheaper than there. Basically that card is a 6800gt that has a massive noisy fans set on and has been overclocked to ultra levels. You can get overclock a gt to ultra levels if you are lucky anyway so...

actually sava store are offering the MSi version for just £2 more at the moment. This is gogd beacuse i think that this version comes with two full games and you are geetinga produt from a better company. If you are in to overclcoking then aria have an x800 vivo for 270

The component centre is seperate from the main official PC world site and is aimed at enthusiast owners. About time too really!!! When I get paid, I reckon a 6800gt will wing its way to me too, if theres stock!
