    290x / 280x

    Hi

Been out of computer gaming for a while now ( my last graphics card is a 4870 ) and just built a new PC, system is in specs.
With the new array of cards from AMD out I am a bit unsure of what to go for.
My first instinct was to get a 290x but is £100 more exspensive than a 290 which I can not see as justifiable.
So the 290 would be a good choice, then I thought about having 2x280x in CF which would be faster than a single 290x, so my brain just kept ticking over and over about all the options and still no decision is made.
Or do I just wait and see if there is something better coming out in the next few months.
Budget will be around 350-400 and will be gaming in UHD and will most probably want 4k ready if possible.

Haha I thought the 290x wasnt justifiable
Very nice choice though, I'm sure you will be pleased with it.

    Re: 290x / 280x

on issue i would highlight is that a single 290x wont really run games at 4k and you will need very good airflow/ wide lane spaces on your mobo if you ever plan to crossfire an aftermarket 290x. I tried it with 2x windforce 290x's and whilst temps where in the top 80s the fan speed was up to 90%...which was a tad loud.
