NZXT Kraken G10 - which cooler to go with?

    Hi all

I'm looking at a cooler for an AMD 290 with a Kraken G10.

Can anyone recommend a cheap, quiet and compatible one? Originally looked at the Corsair H55 but apparently it gets noisy under load - but my thinking is that it may never reach a temperature in the first place to compare to a CPU load?

    Any thoughts?

H75, H90. If you go by THIS REVIEW.

kraken X40 is better than both Corsair's offerings, H90 nearing closer to it however even at lower speeds your card isn't going to exactly sweat.

R9 290 is a beefier card than the GTX 770 (in review) however I don't see why a H55 couldn't cool it OK if you control the fans.

Although "cheap" and AIO watercooling don't usually go hand in hand

"I’d tell you the one about the CIDR block, but you’re too classy" ||| "There’s no place like 127.0.0.1" ||| "I made an NTP joke once. The timing was perfect."
"In high society, TCP is more welcome than UDP. At least it knows a proper handshake."

Thanks for the reply. I like the look of the x40, it's just a bit expensive. I'm thinking that even the cheapest compatible AIO would be better than air cooling, so maybe I'll just look for a quiet one now.
