    Hi/Help

Hi all, new to the forum, as good a place as any to get advice for what graphics card to get. Was all set to get an Sapphire x800xt PE from amazon £335 by xmas however its now not availible for xmas 4-6 weeks
Unless theres one cheaper and availible within a few weeks off another site, doesnt look like the PE is on the cards. So, am stuck between these choices:

-Noname 6800LE £150 (Using Rivatuner to hopefully unlock some pipes and verts)
-Sapphire x800pro VIVO (Flashing it to an XT) £293
-6800GT (Unsure which make to get but want the 256MB version)
-6800 Ultra (Would have to be cheaper than the cost of a PE)
-ASUS 6800 GE £270 (...Looks nice, good package, dunno if Riva Tuner could unlock the pipes etc)

    I saw a PE on here http://www.lowestonweb.com/Products/...D-9471944D6A0C
Never heard of the make Evesham and won't be availible till the 15th, cutting it a bit too close if they change the dates.

Could anyone point me in the direction of a good value for money card, prefferably with 16 pipelines. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, cheers.

To me, XT graphics cards are a big waste of cash. Go for GT/Pro tops and flash/clock it if needs be. And I would choose the x800pro VIVO fromt hat selection.

    Try here:

    www.dabs.com
    www.ebuyer.co.uk
    www.microdirect.co.uk
www.overclockers.co.uk (not the best prices, but usually good service)

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...722330-0492647

Our Price: £293.79 & this item Delivered FREE in the UK

Seems like a good enough deal.

Don't have a floppy drive installed (got one lying around somewher) to flash the bios with tho:

    X800proVIVO@STOCK: 9000 3D Mark 03
    X800proVIVO@XT: 12600 3D Mark 03

However dunno whether a modded 6800GT could do any better for less cost.
