Looks to use a shorter PCB than the standard GTX970 too:

I like the look of it -hopefully the cooler is not too noisy.

It looks like a excellent GPU for a powerful mini-itx build
I expect it will be a bit out of my budget for my next graphics card upgrade, but I do like the look of it and I have a SFF system too.
I find it interesting that they were able to keep the price of a normal 970 around $329.99 or 205.7£ (google currency translation) plus a little more. It still would be cheaper than the windforce edition that is currently at £359.53 on amazon
Looks great! Always nice to see manufacturers changing things up to offer something a bit different.
It's crazy the kind of performance you can cram into an mITX system these days.
I've been toying with the idea of building a C2750D4I based home server (NAS and maybe a few small static websites running off a separate drive) in a SilverStone DS380 but this has got me wondering about spending a little more on a compact gaming system & media PC on an mITX Z97 with something like a 4690K... I probably won't, but it's cool to know it's a possibility.

This'll be great for SLI, have one of these in front and a windforce behind it, both will have decent airflow even in an mATX
