Reading reviews on the web it is a beast of a card but is ugly in my opinion.

I've the same question, was about to make another post.
I assume the price point over at Overclockers is why you're asking?

Not had any experience with Inno3D from an ownership point of view on their more premium products, so I'm in the dark in terms of build quality, reliability etc... In the past have always seen them as a more budget brand and just ignored them.
I used to support their OEM offerings when repairing PC's on the road, unfortunately they were not great, but then I also came across many bad Asus OEM offerings yet I wouldn't have a problem buying their higher level equipment.

I've had Gigabytes and Palits of recent times both have been very good and rock solid.

If there's money to be saved over the other 2 brands and Inno3D are of good quality then I'm game.
I see they offer 3 years warrantee so that's a good starting point I guess.

Reviews suggest it's got the best overclock so far.

Looks are up to you, really.
I wouldn't say it's insanely ugly, so much as just different from the usual offerings.

True, but in this case it seems including an incorrectly spelled "Hercules" wasn't enough, they had to make it much worse with "Air Boss Ultra".

Damn price has increased on Overclockers today from £455 yesterday to £479.99 - currently the only supplier that I would trust to buy from.

Glad I bought a 780 now - After everyone telling me how 980s would be far cheaper and better than the 780s, that's way more than I paid for my Lightning even back then!!

Just jumped again to £499.99 so that's my Christmas & Birthday present to myself up the spout

    I'm now thinking 2x 970s or a 780ti OC... but not sure

It's annoying when they do things like that, or drop the price the day after you buy it.
I crumbled at the weekend and bought it - I still had some Paypal credit from eBay sales so that helped fund it without it all going from bank...
