is this because of the new NVidia game experience? seems it has optimised settings for tons of games
not sure if this is the cause, and if so, is there an alternative
The experience bit is ~15MB.
PhysX is 100MB+, with the rest being made up by various components.
I don't get the issue though. It only installs what you ask it to. The Catalyst suite is 273MB too.
I guess I'm getting old (have got old?).
When you consider that the original retail edition of Windows 95 came on 13 DMF formatted floppy disks (approx. 22MB total) ...
Think you have to download whole package e.g drivers or geforece experience, than it lets you select what components you want to install. Would of been better if I could just download what I wanted as some updates only h
