How little can I spend to improve on H81 onboard graphics?

Just as the title really. Just wondering what people's opinions are on the minimum i should be looking to spend to offer an improvement over the onboard graphics on an H81 motherboard?

Higher frequency RAM is pretty much the only option for integrated graphics, gets pricey quickly though. I'm guessing it'll probably be more cost effective to get a really cheap GPU

The onboard graphics is on the cpu these days not the motherboard. Anyway, I presume you are asking for a graphics card that's better than the Intel HD graphics? What is the use of the pc, ie gaming, browsing, photo editing etc? If gaming what res do you game at? What make and model psu do you have and what cpu?
