    dual monitor setup with Inno3D GeForce GTX 980 "iChill Herculez X4 Air Boss Ultra

    hi there ok I got the ichill herculez x4 air boss ultra graphics card and a asus pb287 4 k monitor I got a 28 inch monitor but its a 1080p so 1920x1200 im trying to get it working with my 4k monitor but I cant change the setting on the 1080p so it look ok side by side im sure its got something to do with the 4k monitor res being 3840x2160 comparing to a 1080p 1920x1200

    Are you saying you're trying to run a 4k monitor as well as a 1080p one??! Off a single card that probably isn't a good idea, most people use dual card setups to drive single 4k monitors due to the power they need. Some clarification might help people help you

    yes that is what im trying to do is i know it uses alot to power a 4k monitor up to that but wanted to cut out the games when i needed to but i tried to get it workjing but it does not seen possible or i might not even have graphics card to run a setup that one

    i think the card will default to the lowest resolution of the 2 screens. it will not scale the 1080p one correctly.

    Best to have 2 monitors the same at least in resolution specs for dual monitor setups

    ye i have them as well just wanted to have the 4k one and the 1080p one but your right im not going to have enough to run both of them need at least 2 as well
