When will you stop cheating with your drivers to artificially enhance benchmark results and not treat your customers like cows to be regularly milked ?

Isn't the Nforce 3 chipset already out there for the Opteron & AMD64 ?Originally posted by TiG

It's clear the FX series of cards have huge problems, do you plan to offer any kind of rebate to the people who've paid obscene amounts of money for your 'high end' card only for it to perform terrible in the lastest dx9 games and be beaten by ATi's Radeon 9600 and slaughtered by the 9800 Pro? Or do you have plans to redeem yourself and rectify these problems, closing the performance gap between the 5900u and 9800 Pro (eg, HL2 benchmarks *cough 30fps Vs 60fps *cough*)?
Will they be bringing out a silent but high performance card such as the 9800Pro by Hercules which is silent but gives excellent performance? Also, will their next card take up tons less room as I don't have any more slots as it is.
the hercules cards is far from silent, thats complete BS, its louder than my sapphire, which also isn't loud.
26dba, or 28, whatever its rated at, thats the FAN on its OWN as ITS tested in a lab. IE, you would never get that rating in its current use, or in the same rig. The air passing through the sink and all around creates more noise. Judging by the volume mine runs at, the rating is almost certainly for the fan on its on, and not for the gfx card as is.
Either way, check out reviews, there are a bunch of quiet versions about, and i know of a few people running zalman heatpipes on them with no problems, I know of one person who ran teh standard zalman heatpipe(a few months ago, not he new one) on a 5800 ultra, and had no problems overclocking it either. The cooling was not needed, they wrongly thought that enthusiasts main concern was overclocking, and not silence, which isn't the case anymore.
"What other computer market sectors are nVidia looking to enter now you have the ability to make graphics cards and chipsets ?"
"How long untill we get the new nforce drivers ?"
"Where can we report driver / application problems to nVidia ?"
"Do you want to buy geforcefx.co.uk off me ?, or exchange it for one of your top end cards ? "

What are we going to see in the Xbox 2
Will the next NF2 driver be fully functional i.e. includes a working
bug free IDE driver? and will that include the new facelifted
NV control panel.
I.e......
Do NVidia have plans to ever get a decent set of programmers
that can handle making a proper fully featured driver release
for the NF2 that won't result in certain parts being pulled.
People need to think about what they are asking, and think about things. Just because the GF FX, generally only under dx9 situtations, is slower than its main rival, its not that much slower, and is still 1st/2nd fastest card you can put you money down for if you want to play games now. You just can't argue with that, and assuming dave is actually gettinga chance to ask questions, and may ask some of these, think about what you really want to know.
AS for driver problems, such poorly made drivers that a chipset out(albeit tweaked since once) last october or so, took the AMD performance crown, and kept it till the release of the ath 64. not so bad for "awful" drivers.
A more appripriate question would be, "With ati's statement of moving to a driver update/release schedule of a minimum of 12 times per year, do you intend to add to your proggramers department in the same way ATi has over the past few years?"
i'd also ask about the general sucess story of the NF2 APU they have made. People are extremely happy with the digital output, with a lot prefering it to the audigy 2's digital out, but the analogue out isn't rated as highly. Will this be an area of improvement, either in the ath64 , and therefore, essentially, the home version NF3. Or maybe a future range of PCI card(or PCI E or X) sound cards of even higher quality than the APU.
Still think a quad channel ddr chipset to really utilise a P4 is needed
