So I am probably going to wait to see what they bring to the table before deciding. The GTX970 seems to be the sweet spot at the moment although the GTX960 was a disappointment to most including me.
I do wish Amd will get their act together Q2 could be April-May?
I hear maybe 4096 stream processes? It all seems to be rumours at this stage are there any facts about this family of cards?
From the supposed leaks and benchmarks it seems like the R9 300 cards will be a big jump in performance. One of the tests seems to show the 4096 SP card at R9 295 performance.
I've not seen any solid facts, but AMD don't seem to let much slip pre launch.
what's your expectation for a possible release? GM200 is certain for a mid-March launch (GTC) you think they could release them before that?
I'm personally waiting to see what the 300 series has to offer from AMD. I have an R9 290 now but I'm wanting to go either 1440p/4k. I think I would rather go with one 390x for example rather than SLI 290's. I'd wait and see what they come up with like you first said.
Im hoping there will be a release in march. However with the 380 likely to be a rebranded 290, that justleaves me with waiting for the 390, hopefully it wont be out of my price range
