Start off by looking at the AMD R9 270x or 270 - they are a little over budget but could suit the games you want to play.

Also consider the 2nd hand market for Radeon 7790 or a nVidia GTX 670oc or 680oc

20 constructive posts, and I suspect that'll be over a period of time, say a couple of weeks or more, to not be considered spamming for free postage.

The PowerColor card should be good, here is a catalogue of benchmarks specifically for the R9 270 from Anandtech: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/1080

The card should handle the games you want to play, probably not at max settings but Medium to High would be achievable with frame rates above 30 FPS.

If you can save a little more, you can get an R9 285 for about £140 http://www.ebuyer.com/662154-powerco...285-2gbd5-tdhe

That is with free delivery too.

Do you know how many Watts your Powersupply is? Eg 300W, 400W, 500W? Do you have any cables coming off the power suply with 6 pins free?
Some graphics cards need additional power cables or a powerful power-supply

I'd go for the 285. It's a bit over budget but it gives more performance for the money and adaptive sync is worth having even on the off-chance that you'll upgrade your monitor before your card.
