    Question How much on core and mem ?

    How much would you set the core and mem at in ATi Tool ?
    I have an Sapphire ATi Radeon 9600xt 256mb.

    Btw, where can i see the temp ? Thought you could see temps on all xtcards ?

    Welcome to the forums.

    Stock speeds for a 9600XT are 500/300 core/mem. If you're overclocking just bump it up 5MHz at a time on the core until you get artifacts when running 3D apps. Once you've found the maximum core speed you can do the same with the memory. FWIW core errors usually cause big jaggy errors in screen whereas memory errors cause small 'sparklies' to appear all over the screen.

    Thnx alot. Ive overclocked the card to 600/312. I didnt want to go to high. And I can already feel it helping in CS:S and HL2

    Cool, nice overclock on the core. You could try pushing the mem a bit further, if you go 3-5mhz at a time and stop as soon as you see sparklies you're very unlikely to do any damage. At 600MHz the core will be a bit memory bandwidth bound so you'll get a good performance increase from OCing the memory.
