EVGA 980 SC Firmware on 980 ACX?

Is it possible to use the firmware from the SC on the 980acx? Thought it might be an easier way of having a permanent overclock.

It may well work. You can always flash a BIOS from a different video card of the same type (i.e.GTX980) but from personal experience you have ~75% of it working. I normally grab my VGA bioses from:
    http://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/

If it doesn't work, you would need a second video card installed (or iGPU) to boot DOS and then re-flash the card, no biggie really. Don't forget, you do not need to stick to EVGA BIOSes either, just GTX980.

I haven't looked but presume there aren't any Maxwell bios editors yet?

Bios Editors are out but I thought if I can flash the SC bios straight to the Normal 980 from EVGA.

Uses the same cooler and all that jazz and was wondering if a straight flash would provide me the benefits of it too. Clocks etc.
