    Oak 256-color VGA thingie
    Onboard SiS thingie
Creative Riva TNT 16MB PCI - served me well, it did
    Soltek Geforce4 Ti4200 128MB AGP8x
    Sapphire Radeon 9800Pro 128MB

The Riva lastest me the longest, with me getting the Ti4200 at a bargain price, and then several months later finding the 9800 also at a bargain price.

CGA 4-colour ISA - max res of 320x200, back when there wasn't much choice in cards...

EGA 16-colour (yes, 16-colour, not 16-bit colour) ISA, capable of a whopping 640x480 - great for producing Mandelbrots over 2 or 3 days...

MCGA 256-colour ISA, now graphics are getting serious! Leisure Suit Larry never looked so lifelike! Shame we're back at 320x200 res...

VGA ISA - wow, you're telling me this thing can do the resolution of EGA with the colour depth of MCGA? Unbelievable! Now to get the Windows 3.11 drivers to work properly...

SVGA ISA - pant-wettingly high 800x600 resolution at 256 colours, and 1024x768 in 16 colours at about a 30Hz refresh rate - I can see more Windows on my screen!...

All the above brands are unknown and lost in the annals of history, the following I remember the manufacturers but the models and exact types elude me (was it EISA or VLB? how much memory?)...

    Trident SVGA ISA
    S3 SVGA EISA
(I think I briefly had a Cirrus Logic card somewhere around this time, for like a day before it went back to the shop as my monitor wouldn't centre the image at all.)
Matrox Mystique 200 2Mb PCI - later paired with a...
    Diamond Monster 3D acclerator
    3DFX Voodoo 4Mb PCI
    3DFX Voodoo3 3000 16Mb PCI
nVidia GeForce2 MX 32Mb AGP (Asus)
    nVidia GeForce4 Ti4200 64Mb AGP (Asus)
    Shuttle SS51G - onboard SiS651
    Shuttle SN41G2 - onboard GeForce4 MX
    Shuttle SK41G - onboard S3 ProSavage

The SN41G2 rig was my main machine for a while so I used the GeForce4 Ti4200 in the AGP slot to override the poor onboard, then I moved this card to the SS51G and replaced with a...
    ATI Radeon 9800Pro 128Mb AGP

And last night I bought my first "complete rig" from a high-street store, an AMD64-based HP Pavilion machine which was bundled with a GeForce FX5500 256Mb AGP card.
Today I'm going to try and find something to replace this card with, as it is utter pants.
