    Question Mixed GCN + TeraScale Direct X 12 performance/compatibility

I've got an ultra budget laptop I use for light gaming. Its got a a8-5550m (with 8550G) and a discreet8570M. I've used them both in Dual Graphics mode to get acceptable FPS in a few games - its worked quite well as they are quite balanced benchmark wise however I was really hoping Direct X 12 would help me hit a few extra FPS and help with newer games however I've just found out the 8550G isn't GCN and so therefore isn't DX12 compatible. Does this mean I am restricted to DX11.1 in dual graphics mode? I've tried to find out more via google but not found anything relevant. Has anyone here heard anything? I'm guessing I could get DX12 on just the 8570M but I can't see that making up for the loss of the APU... (Its kinda of rubbish if some 8000 series GPU's get DX12 and others don't - Its only a year old.)
