Custom resolutions over 60hz no longer work using AMD driver 15.7 or later!!!!

SOLVED :

Turns out that there was a change, and you need to use Pixel Patcher 1.3.4.
They way you know it's failed is that when patching, the top line "DVI/HDMI limit" will say NOT FOUND. If that is the case, then it will not patch the frequency limit properly and therefore you won't be able to achieve higher pixel clocks.

I am desperate to figure this out.

I use CRU to make custom monitor resolutions/frequency of 40, 96 and 120hz. It's been working fine using anything up until about 15.6
Since 15.7 the system will no longer provide me 96 and 120hz as options. I reset everything up after the fresh driver install as well to be sure.


I could roll back to 15.2 or 15.6, and be happy to do so, though I am now onto Windows 10.


If you have any idea what this may be, or if Matt could take it to the team to test, that would be super.
