It is. A rather 'good' card one would say.
How's the rest of the system? Just in case you would have some 'possible' bottleneck.
Might even be overkill for 1080p gaming. Given the die shrink due with the next generation of cards you might want to consider going for an R9 380 (which can be had for around £160) and is Direct X 12 compatible. I just bought a GTX 970 myself, but I'm gaming at 1440p so can utilise the extra power it provides.
I have one, it'll easily munch everything at 1080p![]()
