    try loading up a black background - on a white background everything looks fine on my TFT, but on a black one you can see 1 dead pixel glowing nice and green

    Where is the list of monitors on pcworlds online store? I couldnt find it at pcworld and the pcwcomponent store.

    I open up a graphic and drag it around the desktop. This usually shows up dead pixels and also you can see the response times. As it will blur if its slow. Dead pixels are more noticable with moving pictures than a static one I find.
