    Differences between 6800GTs (PCI-E)

I just thought I should start a thread about this because there is a fairly large price difference between some Geforce 6800GTs.

I am about to buy 1/2 for my new SLi rig, but am not sure exactly which to buy. I was going for XFX because I like them, and they seem to get good reviews and appear as the best 6800GT. But what makes them the best?

I am not interested in the bundle which comes with them, but the quality, and how much they overclock. I have seen that the BFG 6800GT is very cheap in comparison, but why is this?

Basically, which would you advise, and why? And also what makes one make better than another?

May seem off subject but I have bought a 6800GT MSI one which seems to retail alot more. I think they are all roughly the same and would hardly vary atall. I think its the warranty and bundle which changes the price but im not sure atall..

Because PCWorld are the sole importer, buy gfx cards by the container load & sell on (fewer middlemen = less markup - only applies to PCWComponents as PCW retail are still dear)
Btw they don't appear to have any 6800GT PCI-E listed yet.

just an idea...but it could be that some cards have different speed memory on them allowing to overclock higher. i got a glacier 6800 vanilla with higher spec memory than standard that overclocks nicely, and in the past ive had a 9600 with cheap memory on it (apparently) that didnt overclock at all, infact ATI tool lowered the speeds!!! might be part of the reason?

oh and one card, asus v9999 gt td (or someting like that) has DDR 1 mem not DDR3 and only 128mb of it.

Ok. I would have thought the core speed had to be the same on all models, I thought it was just overclocking really. I'l stay clear of the asus then. I am thinking on buying the XFX seen as it seems to get the best review, but I just wondered about some of the cheaper cards.
