    The new CRT TVs

I cant remember what these new CRTs are called, they are made up
of several smaller CRTs which means they can be much thinner than they are
    now perhaps made by philips.

I havent heard anything about them being used as computer monitors though.

There is also a new slim CRT by samsung called vixlim and they have made a 35 cm deep tube with a diaganol length of 81 cm.

Sounds good , i'd like to find out more about it, when are these slim ones due?

I probably wouldnt take one over a TFT though since i love the ease of looking at a TFT compared to CRTs

The samsung ones i read about were coming early this year..... but then again as the uk is a 3rd world country we will get it much later haha.

I now prefer TFTs too because of the radiation that crts give off. These sound nice for TVs though. I dont like TFTs as TVs... having said that i want to know what resolution those 26 inchers at £600 or £700 pounds ive seen on thr adverts recently.

I wasnt even thinking about the TV possiblities of this new technology, how stupid of me. Thats something i will definitely be interested in, save weight and space as i still believe CRT TV is the superior display option for the home.
