What do you guys think about this monitor?

I've been considering a new monitor for a long while now and my CRT is starting to flicker a bit.. so its time for it to hit the bin i think

    You've probably read this

Excellent for games and good enough for general purpose. What's not to like... the price maybe.

Looking around, the prices in Australia are good compared to other monitors.. probably only $20 more than a 16 ms monitor same size...

Easy decision then but it sounds like you have higher than average prices for the 16ms screens. The 8ms screens are relatively expensive and 16ms prices have fallen sharply so it's harder to decide in the UK. It's worth investing in the best screen you can afford IMO since it makes such a big difference to the experience unlike some other upgrades. A good screen can last you a long time... they don't stop being a good screen in the future unlike graphics cards which age quickly.

Maybe worth the waiting a while for other 8ms screens which should theory drive down the cost of 16ms screens.
