Must be, those cards have only recently been added to their stock. Last week they only had the 6600/GT and X300 listed under their PCI-E section.

I got one from Scan for £10+ less. But I think they put up the price since...

Nope, but if you have a PCI-E motherboard then you need one of these instead of an AGP version
I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.

IF the projected US pricing translates to UK, then the X800XL should come to market at around £200 inc VAT. Which would be nice.

This card is a replacement for the one i bought from scan. The cards they sell aren't gt's but gto's which have only 12 pipelines,4 vertex shaders and are clocked slower. They didn't tell me this when i bought it. Id check yours.

May have to look at sourcing one from overseas, then; that price is just a joke.

Just got the card and it is a proper 6800gt at real clock speeds. It said oem but it came with cables ,manual and driver. Absolute bargain!

there were some? ...not anymore. so basically its evesham or wait a decade? long live our false economy.
so like i asked at my thread is there any conclusive comparrisons between the different makers cards? no replys helped me to presume the negative. My asus sli is going to waste unless the 6800s get a move on...whilst im here im going to rant about AMDs hoarding of the winchester 3500 64 that i ordered 2 decades ago

is your 6800gt from evesham extremely loud on the fan? mine is making me deaf, well, my two are, noise is ridiculous, mine aren't spinning down are booting like previous cards have done.

I also got a 6800gt from scan that turned out to be a 6800gto. on its way back now.

Ive got an nv5 silencer on it now. I didn't really notice the fan that much on the original heatsink but i do have 7 case fans + 120mm delta so i probably wouldn't notice it anyway.

Komplett are doing them for 210 inc. http://www.komplett.co.uk/k/ki.asp?sku=306372&cks=PRL Seems a more reasonable price.
