    Best GTX 970 Blower?

I'm looking for a blower style 970 or possibly even 980 but my case only allows for a maximum of 250mm card length.

From research I've done so far there isn't a clear winner, but the PNY model seems to have the best heatsink of the bunch. The other main competitor for me I think is the EVGA blower model, but I couldn't find any pics of the heatsink.

Any feedback on your GTX 970 blower model would be appreciated.

You meant this EVGA card? (part no.: 04G-P4-1972-KR)

With the 250mm GPU limitation, that's one of the models I found also. Also you could consider Palit 970 (part no.: NE5X970014G2F).

What case you have (or will be having), if I may ask? Initially I wanted to suggest the ASUS model but turns out that is just too long.

Have you considered / would you consider watercooling the GPU?

I ask because I own the Palit card mentioned above. The cooler on it is unspectacular but the card itself is significantly shorter with it removed. I have mine mounted inside a Lian-Li Q-33 which won't allow for cards longer than 220mm, using an MSI Dragon watercooler and NZXT G10 bracket. Works like a dream.

    Thanks for the recommendation Bonebreaker.

My case is the Element Atomic. Which is the same as a Rajintek Metis/Raidmax Atomic. I've actually planned the build extensively and the case was chosen over others like the Ncase M1. I've also modified it a little to make best use of the space.

Another problem with the ASUS model is it's height as I'm putting a small water cooling reservoir above the space where the graphics card sits.

Do you need to WC your GPU? I think you should be fine with it being Air cooled! The Asus STRIX is designed with cooling in mind so if you can somehow fit it in, you should be sorted!
