    Dear Mr Andrzej

    Just wondering if you have (or could get) any info on if Ati are planning, or undergoing any better support for Linux ?

    Cheers

    I asked this and the response was they are reviewing Linux support.
    To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.

    Actually, we expect a new version of the Linux driver VERY soon

    Also, we will be committing to a minimal number of Linux releases a year (e.g. 6)

    Now now, don't pressure the guy!

    I emerged the ati-drivers onto my gentoo install on my laptop yesterday. Unfortunately it's still downloading and compiling KDE, so I haven't had a chance to test it yet, but agpgart, intel-agp and fglrx are all running.

    I just hope we see some performance improvements in the driver
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();
