ATI lacking in the middle?

Just wondering if ATI were going to give us AGP peeps some midrange cards this time round??

ATM my only choices realy are a 6600GT ir 6800, both this gen... And I dont want a 9800, as the pro isnt as fast as the 6600GT, and the XT is FAR too expensive here in Australia when compared to other options..

well the X800XL would be a great middle range card but its apperently only gunna be PCI-E but i have heard rumors it might be AGP aswell, that would be nice :)

ask the ATI guy, oh yer he cant comment.
