    9800pro manufacturers

I have been looking at this 9800pro on L.O.W and was wondering if anyone knows who its made by at all?...
I know the same company sells a 9600xt thats made by sapphire (who I know are a pretty solid make for graphics cards) - just wondering if this 9800 pro is sapphire as well, or some dodgy 'dont-touch-with-barge-pole' make...(for example; i hear powercolor aren't all that great due to selling duff ram in their ones)
who are reliable graphics card makers?

yes but they don't MAKE or even assemble the cards though, they buy them in - as if you read above the 9600xt is a sapphire hence the 9800 COULD be a sapphire or perhaps a not so good make, like powercolor.
I was merely wondering if anyone knew who Evesham buy their 9800pro's from, and who are good manufacturers of 9800's...

Make sure you buy a 256bit 128mb card. All 9800pros are so close to the reference you cant really go wrong.

It may just be ATI thats who makes the cards in the US, they r made by 3rd partys in europe.

that one sounds wicked, but beware if you do go for the sapphire one as they made quite a few 128 bit ones

ATI do not make cards for the US market - they are all actually made by sapphire for ATI at the same place as the sapphire cards ...

Just thought I'd let you know

    9800Pro manufacturers

For any of you familiar with Visiontek, I currently own a 9800 Pro by Visiontek, never heard of until I found one for sale on Ebay last year...

    Read this: http://www.hothardware.com/viewartic...?articleid=503

    and won the auction @ £129 !
It's just like the original ATI card according to this review.
I felt I had to add this as I haven't seen many of Visiontek's products being discussed, maybe because people don't have any issues with them?
