    Monitor input help

    Help. My 21" CRT monitor supports dual inputs, one is d-sub the other is labelled EVC. Just about the only EVC cable I can find is labelled DVI to P&D (M1-DA, EVC)

    Any idea if I can use this with my ATI 9800?

    CHeers

    EVC allows you to carry USB and Firewire down a DVI cable... it's just extra pins.

    So really all you need is a DVI -> EVC connector. How you'd find one I don't know - but the documentation above suggests complete compatability with DVI.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    CHeers for the link. THink I will try the £20 one, had a search around and kept finding direct DVI-> EVC cables that cost arounf £90!!
