6600gt and a crap PSU?
im about to install a leadtek 6600gt in my computer, but ive only got a crappy qtec 550w psu. yeah i know i need to change it, but money is tight for now so ill be using it for a few weeks yet.
is there any risk of it damaging the gfx card? its been ok with a 9700pro up to now, but its not a perfect situation i know.
or would i be better off using 2 psu's for the time being? one for the gfx card and the other for the rest of my puter?
dont wanna break my new card :)

Crappy 550w?
Mines a no name 400w and it runs fine.

You shouldn;t have any problems really, 6600gts aren't that thirsty, worst that would happen is that it'd either crash you out in demanding 3d or not work but I think the chance is pretty remote of that happening tbh
