nvening - I understand you're currently building a computer to use with Windows MCE 2005. Doesn't this count as discussion of warez?

*No it doesn't, because I didn't realise it's now available to buy without a PC*

lets put a stop to that right now shall we?

X700 is currently sat around the low end £120-170

    X800XL is just over £230

all the other prices should then drop a bit once the X850's start to come in..

That is exactly how arguments start.
There is no need to reply to this, just do it.

nvening, the good news is that Komplett will be selling the Sapphire X800XL for £210. The bad news? None expected until March.

There's also the basic 3-quad X800 on PCI-E, that should be ~£175 inc VAT. Volume production has begun and it should be available in quantity before X800 XL.

3-quad means 3 sets of four pipelines i.e. 12 pipelines.

4-quad means 4 sets of four pipelines i.e. 16 pipelines.

Basically, the more pipelines, the better. If you want to know anything more in depth, somebody else will have to answer
