    R9700PRO - Secondary

    Hello,

I've always wondered about this and considering the great replies I've got from other threads I thought the hexus forums is the best place to ask.

In Device Manger under Display adapters I have two entries:

    R9700PRO

    R9700PRO - Secondary

Now of course I only have one R9700PRO or I wouldn't be asking this.

What I'm assuming is it is in fact because the card has two ports for monitors it requires two entries in order for that to work correctly.

Anyone care to shed some light on this?

    Regards,

    Speed
    (Mark)

You're absolutely right, it's because of the Radeon's dual-head support and nothing to worry about.
