    Cool 9800 Xt

Just curious as to whether or not anybody has heard anything about these new cards yet or if people think they will upgrade to it.

i think it was 460/850 off the top of my head but then again i can't remember the speeds of the 9800 Pro

Originally it was rumoured that the new core was coming out in september but recent news reports proved that it wasn't.

The new Radeon Core is set to come out next year and will probably end up being PCI-Express i imagine instead of AGP. At least there will be cards which will be able to handle HL2 at 1600x1200 without a flaw by mid next year

But its like comparing an AMD clock speed to a P4 clock speed. The Ati chips dont need todo as many clock cycles to get the same stuff done.
I dont like sig pics so i turn off sigs Which doesnt help when i dont know what ive written here! DOH!

surely it's the same core so 415mhz isn't very impressive, my 9800pro runs 460 with stock cooling.
