    1080 or 1080ti

    Just a query:

    1080 or 1080TI

    Build:

    3XS Z170 Overclocked Bundle, Intel Core i7 7700K "Kaby Lake", Asus Maximus VIII Hero, 16GB DDR4, Corsair Hydro H100i V2 (OC 4.8GHz)

Is the TI worth the extra 200 quid if im only playing Player Unknown Battlegrounds, CSGO and new CoD later in the year.

    Thanks

    Re: 1080 or 1080ti

I mean it really depends on what monitor(s) you have - for the best 4k experience a 1080ti would be ideal, but if you're just going to play games like CSGO pretty much any card will do.
If you look up on Youtube there is this guy playing Player Unknown Battlegrounds with a 1080 at 1440p, averaging around 60 fps. I don't expect the new CoD to be too demanding seeing that it's usually optimised for consoles (although that may not be a good thing).
If you have a 4k monitor, maybe the ti is worth the extra 200 quid. If you're just going for 1440 the 1080 will do

GTX 1080 is enough. I'm using GTX 1070.

    Re: 1080 or 1080ti

If you're looking to play those games in 4k, a 1080Ti might be the better option but even that won't hit 60fps on Pubg for example.
