I'd like to hear from those who use a TFT to play PS2/Xbox games or DVDs and TV fullscreen. I'd like to know if its any good. I'd be very interested in the Dell 2001FP or the 2005FPW if it can handle fullscreen PS2 games in good quality

I currently have a Xbox set up on the composite input on my Dell 2001fp..
the quality is reasonable... bearing in mind that the monitor has to scale up from circa 640x480 type resolution.. there are several options... normal (good quality, but only in the midddle of the screen with no scaling) aspect (will scale but keep the aspect ratio... this fills the screen except for gaps either side) or strech (which will scale the image up to the full screen size)
it beats playing on a naff 14" tv.. but quality isnt up to par with the pc display.
one thing i am going to try is getting a vga adaptor for the xbox and swiching it into hdtv mode... that should improve things a bit :devilish:
Xbox in HDTV mode will look awesome.
With the PS2, you'll definately want to get an s-video cable.
Why would aspect mode create black bars on either side when 1600x1200 is 4:3 ? :confused:

most other tft just have dvi+dsub.. in which case you will need a vga adapter (can you get them for ps2? i know you can for the xbox)
