Greetings
I have a bit of money burning a hole in my pocket and I feel I should replace my current 17" Sony CRT, which was born in December 1999.
Twin 17's would be nice, but for the short term I would rather have one large 19". I will use it a lot for films, and eventually for TV when I get the card.
I was originally looking at the Iiyama 17" E431 because of its good reviews. Then the E435 came and I couldnt decide which one to get.
Now I see that there is very little difference in money between the 17" E431 (£247 inc vat) and the 19" E481 (274 inc).
Then there is the new 19" E485 that came out in December 2004 which is only £253 inc vat. This has 800:1 contrast and slightly faster response time...

I've read reviews of the E481 and understand that it rates very highly. But I've seen no reviews on the 485.
Advise on which is the better monitor, for £, would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

All 100% stock.
Edit - The other thing I was going to ask, is, should I experience much ghosting in games with either 25 or 23 ms? And would my gfx card be able to handle it at the native res okay ?? Ta.

. I'm just reading up on it now, it's certainly got some great reviews like you say! Superb specs, usb ports etc! I think it might be the one
But at £230 all inc. it would have been rude to turn it down. I did realise it was only 1 year RTB warranty, but came to the decision the saving was too good. So fingers crossed I get a good one!! Nothing wrong with it though, says its just surplus stock...
