Hi my son has just gave me his old rig with a msi R7870-2GD5T/OC card which I have found only 1 fan works unless I ramp it up to over 88% when they both run, which after reading online appears a well know issue. So can anyone tell me where to get a set of replacement fans please ?

Feebay - search "{make} {model} replacement fans" and you'll invariably find some, but be prepared to pay over the odds - probably £5-£6 per fan.

Alternativesly, go full ghetto and mount a 120mm AIO to itand profit.
Few months ago I bought a fan replacement for my 7970GHz in Aliexpress.
They cost me 17€ and worked flawless.
Dismount the fans and look for the model number, then search in Aliexpress this model number and check compatibility with your card.
