    Best Driver for a Ti200?

Just rebulding a friends computer for him after his MB b0rked and I wanted to know what the best drivers for a Ti200 are? The latest Nivida ones just hanf about 40% through the install so I guess they don't like the card.

    43xx ones.

Doesnt make too much difference now for Pre FX cards. I know I used to run different drivers for my MX and my TI4200 - but now I just run WHQL ones. Even if certain revisions do work slightly faster for certain cards sometimes unless you are going for it benching the genuine compatability increase counts for more.

Hmm, nvidia site one seems to have the questionable 45xx ones - at least at a quick glance.

    Try here

I'ed go for the 43.45 ones (I think I'm using them now) rather than the WHQL 44xx ones.

I agree with trickle except about WHQL as it doesnt matter too much if there certified drivers..you'll still find bugs with the driver anyhow.

Just get there latest drivers from www.nvidia.com or the highest detonators you can get from elsewhere.

Obviously the latest drivers are more optimized for the FX range but it does not mean older drivers will work better with th ti200 just means the latest driver dont increase speed anymore than the older driver just fix bugs found with them and the latest games.
    (Thats what i think anyway)

The latest ones would not install, they just hung at 40% each time.

Put 44.35's on and they seem to have done the job alright

    Thanks for the help
