STREWTH
and i was amazed at the sheer size of my 6800nu!
Brings a new meaning to the phrase "Big blue" :)
Theres some thing funny about that pic... notice the stock coller holes? You cant fit 2 on that any whay and yet the hols are there... And whats up with the width of that card? It would never fitt in any case! :inquisiti
Christ
First SLi, now a giant PCB multi core card. Are we sure 3DFX went bust? ;)
CPUs with Dual cores and GFX with dual cores seems to be the way forward...
Will it fit in a SFF rig? ;)
I think if it is made to sell they will have to shrink it down as that will be too large for the majority. Think of the power though :)

Thermaltake V1000+ ?
I'd be surprised if it didn't fit in a CM Stacker, but even so, thats gigantic.
I wonder if that'll reduce the effect of BTX, it being so large an' all?
And the components ... and connectors ... at the top right seem disproportionately large for some reason!!! :inquisitiQuote:

This will only take off when the processor is specifically designed to be somewhat 'dual cored', in the same way processors are.
what does 6800"nu" mean?
6800nu means non ultra or vanilla. In other words just a plain 6800... 12 pixel pipes 5 vertex shaders. as opposed to 16/6 on the GT/Ultra
Thats the nicest colour PCB ive seen to date! Looks genuine enough to me.
OK so we have SLi now...
And dual-GPU cards...
Would I be tempting fate by speculating on how long it will take before some marketing genius that knows a little about gaming hardware decides a dual-gpu card which can be paired in SLi with another of the same is good idea? ;)
