    CeBIT 2005 - from a different angle...

Multimedia beds which seem to promise 'lay on me and I will make you happy'...

    Swiss Army Rucksack...

After consuming hot beef, HEXUS Hierarchy get 'on the spot' tutorial in Hall 27...

Forget 1600x1200 and treat yourself to 'Minority Report style' interface...

All you need to power this new interface are quad X850 XT cards and some serious projection power...

When not busy wanting a Swiss Army Rucksack - I found myself drawn to these 'under the TV' beauties...

Most companies opted for stands - but to celebrate 20 years of graphics - we had an entire hall (greedy eh !)...

We also had the World Cyber Games - which was playing to packed houses of hardcore gamers. The live commentary for team matches was something else. You can just make out a MASSIVE hunter's knife on the screen (right)...

Between sessions the compares ran a series of competitions - including grown men playing 'musical chairs' on stage - in front of hundreds of people - with a sound system capable of banging out dance music at the 'several thousands watts' level of power - just wish I had some pics of these guys wrestling each other over the 'final chairs' - it was something else

There may or may not be some shots of the Gizmondo stand sitting on the memory sticks of the HEXUS Hierarchy's digital cameras

If there are - and they post them - it might raise the bar a little on 'fun'
