The 71.84 has been WHQL certified (still technically beta but 12800 people have downloaded it) and seems to be proving to be a popular version as it's pretty stable, some people are still reporting incorrect temp reading in this verison but from reading this can be cured by overclocking the standard 2d core clock by 1mhz..I'm running 7184 and seem very good. Just installed 71.90 on my SLi machine as it's suppose to have more Sli profiles built in, they are also Whql cert'd. you can get them all here http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?id=10

Have any of you read the cover sheet, or pdf release file that goes with the 71.84 release, it seems seriously bugged to me!

You actually READ the README? Blimey!

Truth be told, no I haven't, but perhaps I should.

Me either but as I say I've been running it for a week and thy've been fine, at the end of the day it's a worth a try, not like it's going to be the end of the world if they are buggy, just uninstall and roll back to a different version..you don't get anywhere standing still

The 32bit version is available too... I'm running it, downloaded from the NVIDIA site.

ah right-o...but this recent release is bugged beyond my liking. sticking with what I have right now until something worth updating comes along...
66.93's working fine - I think...but the usual story is that I could always go for something that provides even more speed!

OK, downloaded and run 71.84 WHQL from Nvidia site last night, temps stayed the same, 55C idle, 3DMark05 score increase from 5034 to 5302. I'm happy with it.
