Graphics card temperatures?

I'm running an X800 Pro VIVO, having flashed it to an XTPE. Recently things have been going a bit pear shaped in the graphics card department, and I'm wondering if the graphics card is on its way out.

What temperatures are other people getting with this setup?

What temps you getting and in future put it in the graphics card forum....thats what its there for...

My Sapphire x800 pro vivo flashed to xtpe at 526/560 is sitting at 34c idle at the mo.Thats with a Arctic Cooler v4 on it.I have ATItool set to keep the gpu below 55c.At the minute ATItool says the fan is at 43%.Which also keeps the fan quiet,Still cant hear it on full pelt either.(nothing to do with being deaf either)I've never had any problems with it.Touch Wood.It's bound to die now lol.
What bios did you flash it too? What brand of x800 pro is it ?

Yeah, I wasn't sure, given I've overclocked the card I put it in here - I won't do it again!

Temp-wise its generally 52-60 degrees.

I'm currently changing from the Cat 5.3 to the 4.11 drivers, to see if that is the root of the problem.

Its a Powercolor iirc, and the cooling on it is just the stock lot it came with.

I would consider moving to an arctic cooler. It could be because the XT PE flash increases volts iirc so its prob too much for the stock cooler

Possibly, although its been running as an XT-PE for ages now, and its only recently that the problems have been happening - which is making me think that I may have killed the card (or severely mutilated it at the very least).

Hmmm, also - McAfee is taking an age to load up in XP .... I'm starting to think this might be a motherboard/processer/expensive issue. Given that I'm overclocking the processor too (and its a fairly old motherboard) - is this a possibility?

Its the graphics card alright! Just had a quick couple of lpas on GTR, came out of it and the temp on the graphics card was showing as 79 degrees.

So, having quickly shut it all down, I'm off to get another cooling solution for it!

Just installed the Arctic Cooler v4, temps have dropped from a 79 peak (I hope thats where it peaked!) to a more reasonable 55, its currently sat at 40, but my case does tend to run a bit warm, so all things considered I'm well happy with it!
