I have the Sapphire 256mb 9550 in my second comp. Seem a very nice card for the money, cost me just under £40 if I remember righly. As for what I had before, a Matrox 8mb pci card of some sort. So I can't really compare it to that.
Run's The Sims 2 fine, and WoW not to bad, which is all it gets used for by the GF. That's with a XP1800+ at stock and 1gb 2100ddr. Sorry I don't have any benchmarks for you.
I don't have one, but they're basically the same as 9600s. As with the 9600, the SE versions suck as a result of having a 64 bit memory bus. The Abit 9550 guru card is reputed to be a good overclocker and thus good VFM:).
