Does anyone here have this monitor? I was thinking on buying it, but I'm not completely sure if it's good (at least it has a DVI connection and 16ms response time).
Any help appreciated.
Cheers.

It's fine. Go out an buy it.
Cheers.
Do you have it?
Nope.
But my views on TFTs (feel free to search my post history in the graphics card forum to see my views on this) are that none of them are perfect, and as long as you're not buying a bargain basement el' cheapo brand TFT or trying to do commercial high end photography / design work, you'll be fine. Viewsonic are a decent brand, and the VG710B from reviews is a decent enough monitor.
It says on Overclockers.co.uk that it has 25ms response time... just so u know.
Im goin to get 2 viewsonic tft's also as they do seem to be gd. lets jsut hope theya re gd for dvd's and games.

On the user guide I downloaded, it says 16ms, just like viewsonic's website.
But they CAN be wrong; the VX715 has a 25ms response time (confirmed by tech support) and in the website the specs. say 16ms.
I was also looking at the Hyundai L70S, but it has a native res. of 1280x1024 (5:4) and the display has a 4:3 aspect ratio :shocked2: , and doesn't have DVI
BTW, the VE710b has a 25ms response time and the VG710b has a 16ms response time
If you're concerned about response time, you'd probably be better off with the 171b
Note the issue about model numbers, response times and OSD checking.
Thank you. I believe that if the viewing angles of this model are too narrow, the ones of the 'G' series would be even narrower, so I believe I'll be using my CRT for some time.
Cheers to all who helped me :iloveyou:
