    I had the SLi setup thrice (8800GT, 780Ti and 980Ti), and thrice I was dissapointed. It was never worth it.

    I watched a recent video with jayztwocents (I think), and he benchmarked a couple of games and the FPS actually went DOWN. That was using 3000 series. The only thing sli / crossfire is decent for now is benchmark scores. Maybe some application in nvec processing rigs maybe too but that's out of my scope of knowledge
