    Oh. My. God.

Before too much longer they're going to need a separate case just for the card at this rate...

That's just silly. Think of the weight and stuff. Seems like ATI are developing more 'efficient' designs at the mo...Nvidia need to sort theier stuff out...or stop drinking and smoking whatever they are at the mo!

Ridiculous...TBH i couldn't believe how small my 9700Pro was when i got it, it was literally half the length of the Ti4400 it replaced.

I think with the likes of the new board layouts and switchable fans etc that designs are much more efficiant.

I remeber the days of thunderous Delta 60mm, now it's all Aero 7+ with variable speed...

Heck Dell and Apple are concentrating on low, low noise computers and it is not that hard to design your own.

Nvidia know this, I think they have just messed up this generation...well not really if ATI had not produced 9700 than the new NV stuff would be awesome and we'd accept noise etc, but because ATI have come up trumps with their current cards Nvidia need to sort **** out.

But whilst they are busy beavering away so are ATI and others, at least it's always interesting in the GFX wars!

You've got it all wrong - they've mixed the photos up with the vertical lift engine from the VTOL version of the new Joint Strike Fighter...

Its the size of a super computer, with the volume of a jumbo jet.

I thought the FX was big enough, wtf are they playing at?

It just seems that nVidia are so sad and defeated ... having to severely o/c their hw to compete and even then clock them higher than the competitiors and mess about with drivers. On top of that the cards are poorly designed with design flaws ... I think they should rebuild it all from the bottom up. Early days ... but it seems to be the way they're going.

Quality!!! I can't wait for the size of the heatsinks on NVidia cards to get bigger than CPU coolers!

I think Nvidia should admit defeat to themselves (they probably have) and they should as austin has said rebuild it from the bottom up, and perhaps find a way to sell there existing videocards off cheap before they become worthless.

Perhaps get rid of the geforce brand as they have irrepairably damaged it in my eyes, and start hyping a new one and sign some deals for at least two top games to be bundled with them.

Then who knows, they might be do that already..

WTF is that??I don´t want to know what weight that card has ( 800g). Soon you will be able to bodybuild with NV cards
Ey man i can lift a 4*20 on an bench with nVidia cards!
