(1) It calculcates the system's MAXIMUM output (which is virtually impossible to achieve in the real world)
(2) Typical system usage probably results in anything between at 30%-70% of peak output.
(3) Treat it as a rough guide rather than a precise tool.
Agreed, as it only gives you the watts required, but what would be more helpful, is the ampage required on each PSU Rail.Quote:

I've seen a better one, but can't remember where.
My main system only needs 271w according to this. My true power 330x is ok then.
The power calculator over at http://takaman.jp/D/?english gives the load on each rail, as well as the total wattage. Is that the one you were thinking of, Kez? Pity its component list is a bit outdated, though.
