    Dell E193FP any good??

I have read a couple of unfavourable reviews on the Dell mainstream 19" tft E193FP. Have any of you guys got one and have you got anything to say about it, good or bad???

hmm just looking at one of these, they are really cheap at the moment.

i was just about to post the same question.

Monitor size and type : 19" (48.3cm) active matrix TFT
    Resolution : 1280 x 1024 (SXGA)
    Response time / Brightness / Contrast Ratio : 16ms / 250cd/m2 / 500:1
    Dimensions h x w x d : 439 x 415 x 157 mm

how does the brightness and contrast ratio sound, i dont really understand these numbers and would have just plunged for the one with the lowest responce time.

i dont game that much, but do like the odd game of mohaa/pa, hl2, farcry etc.

i had a 25ms 15" and it was terrible playing the few games i do play so i sold it and went back to CRT i just dont want this to happen after buying a new 19"

    thanks

Well I just got mine delivered, first impressions are that colours look a bit washed out which may be a problem as I do quite a lot of graphics work and web design. Apart from that it is good, a nice big viewable area, crisp and clear text. Yeh I'm happy as it came cost me not a lot of money as it was bundled in the system I bought in the last Dell pricing error
