    Which GPU?

    Hi,

Which GPU would people go for out of the 2 listed below for 1440p gaming?

MSI NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 2070 SUPER GAMING X TRIO

Sapphire Radeon RX 5700 XT Nitro+ Special Edition

    Thanks,

    Re: Which GPU?

Neither as they are both over £450 and there are new general GPUs coming out this year.

What GPU do you have now?? What games do you intend to play and what CPU do you have now?? If you really need a GPU now,I would probably get an RX5700/RX5700XT for around £300~£350 at most.

    Re: Which GPU?

Yeah, as above. If keep a look out for a cheaper RX5700/RX5700XT - just keep an eye on the reviews to ensure it's a reasonable model without cooling issues.

Though if you were going to spend that much and money wasn't the issue then probably the 2070.

    Re: Which GPU?

2070 is faster and has Nvidia stuff, but its more expensive. 5700XT is a bit cheaper, has some driver "features" but is pretty adequate for 1440p.

    Re: Which GPU?

I had the same deliberation but went with the 2070 as Amazon had a sale on the model I got. Not looked back.

Yaz and Nvidia, their video cards are more reliable for me. I have had such a video card for 4 years now and I do not complain about its performance.

    Re: Which GPU?

GEFORCE RTX 2070 comes with more memory and is more expensive. Radeon matches with it among all other specs.

    Re: Which GPU?

If I had to choose i'd go with the MSI NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 2070 SUPER GAMING X TRIO. GPU's are quite scarce right now, so you'll be lucky to find one at a decent price point.
