Cannot find video driver (need help)

Hey whats up everybody, I cannot find a driver for this video card in a fairly new computer. There is nothing physically on the card that says manufacturer or anything. All it says is 8960 ver 130, REV A01, and Top Search TS-M-8V01C. Although I do know it is made by ATI since I noticed that on the computer before it was reformatted. Also, what is Catalyst 5.3? ANY help is appreciated since this has me stumped.

P.S. It has some other numbers but thats just S/N's, P/N's and something else with CN and MIC.

    go here https://support.ati.com/ics/support/...ge&folderID=27
dowload the latest catalyst drivers for your operating system & try that.

You can also try previous versions, I think back to cat 5.1

How old is the system it came from?

The whole system including the video card is about one year old. I am not familiar with catalyst though, is it kind of a universal driver for ATI?

I agree with the other posters, that you should just download catalyst and install. In the future, if you have hardware that you can't identify, I use a program called PC Wizard from www.cpuid.com. This will allow you to read identifying information about the hardware in your pc, without the drivers installed. It's great if you have a rogue soundcard, modem, or motherboard driver you can't identify.

    BTW, it's freeware too!
